Hall Rental Rates

Afternoon Hall rental (before 4.00 PM)

  • Half Day (4 hours) $100.00
  • Full Day (8 hours) $150.00

Hall rental (after 4.00 PM)

  • Branch 240 member $175.00
  • Non-Member $240.00
  • Bartender $50.00

Basement Rental:

  • Full use with tables and chairs $75.00

* prices include HST

Kitchen Optional:

  • Use of the kitchen is for food storage, food prep and to plug in food warming equipment
  • Dishwasher – additional cost of $50.00

Use of stove, oven, grill or fryer is prohibited. All food and food prep is to be removed from the kitchen at the end of the event.

Audio Visual Equipment – Projector, Screen, PA system & Speakers

  • Use of the AV equipment will require prior approval and a test of equipment at least 24 hours prior to the event.
    Additional cost of $50.00

Capacity Limits

  • Upstairs Hall – 107 people including the bartender & staff
  • Lounge – 111 people including bartender & staff
  • Basement – 56 people
  • Licensed Patio with smoking – 20 people

 Rental Rules:

  1. No outside alcohol is permitted on the property, including the parking area.
  2. No decorations shall be tacked or taped to the walls, (all decorations must be removed before you leave)
  3. All decorations and food waste must be cleaned up and removed by the end of the event.
  4. All garbage must be gathered in one location at the end of the event.
  5. The renter is responsible for repairs or replacement on any damages caused to the premises /fixtures during the rental period.
  6. Last call will be at 1:00 am, and all parties must be off the premises by 1:30 am.
  7. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
  8. If the renter cancels the hall rental anytime up to 2 weeks prior to the event, 100% of the deposit will be returned.
    If the renter cancels the hall rental anytime up to 1 week prior to the event, 50% of the deposit will be returned.
    If the renter cancels the hall rental anytime 6 days or less prior to the event, there will be no deposit returned.
  9. Children 12 years old and under must be supervised by accompanying adult.
  10. Failure to adhere to the above rental rules as well as the Branch 240 House Rules will result in the cancellation of the rental and forfeiture of all deposits.

“The Royal Canadian Legion does not support or tolerate any group or organization whose views or actions are contrary to our values and those of our country. The beliefs of any group with which we interact must align with and reflect the Legion’s founding Articles of Faith and General By-Laws. As such, no Branch or Command within the Legion may affiliate itself in any manner whatsoever with a group or organization that promotes or is known to promote hatred or violence due to ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or any other social determinant. This also applies to Legion support of groups affiliated with organizations that espouse hostility. Command and Branch Executive and Legion members must use their best judgement to ensure policy compliance. The ultimate determination as to what constitutes a prohibited group lies with the Dominion Command; its determination is final and will govern. Any Branch or Command having doubts about a group’s history or its suitability to associate with the Legion, must obtain advice from the Provincial Command or Dominion Command, respectively. Noncompliance with the policy is punishable up to and including an Article III expulsion within the Legion’s General By-Laws.”
