The Royal Canadian Legion is founded on the ethos of “working together to serve Canada’s Veterans” and the Branch works very hard at meeting this commitment. In that light, the Almonte Legion Branch 240 is pleased to announce the establishment of a monthly Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Veterans Coffee. To be held at 1000 – 1130 hrs on the first Thursday of each month, this is an opportunity to meet and socialize with other Veterans in a convivial atmosphere, share experiences, raise the profile of Veterans in our great community and discuss any number of topics.
Calling all Veterans in Almonte and surrounding communities, the first Veterans Coffee will be held on Thursday 2 January, 1000 – 1130 hrs. This invitation is also extended to RCMP and OPP Veterans who are most welcome to attend.
