If you have been by the Cenotaph recently, you will notice a beautiful renewal job has taken place on the Cenotaph grounds which was very generously done by local Contractor Pat Richards, owner of Richcon Homes. Pat and his team did an amazing job, and the project has received much praise by the community. The project included removal of the maple tree to side of the monument that was tested by arborists and unfortunately was in poor condition and posed a safety risk. However, parts of the old maple were cut and distributed to local creators to make something out of this special tree. Pat sent the Branch a thank you letter which entailed the planning stages of the project and thanking several people involved throughout the process along the way. He used several local sub-contractors and suppliers and received much appreciated help from the town.
On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 240, we thank Pat Richards and his team at Richcon Homes!
