On February 3rd, the Almonte Legion hosted the 1st Annua, ALS Mixed Doubles Dart Tournament and the event was a huge success. This ALS Fundraiser & Awareness was in honour of Steve Devlin and past, current and future ALS sufferers in our community. Unfortunately there are many families in our community that have been affected by ALS and those people were honoured at this event and many family members attended.
Twenty-nine teams participated in the day long event, third place winners were Terry Munro and Connie Cormier, Alex Moore and Joanne Gauthier were second place and this years event winners was Allyn Wark and Doreen Byrne.
Men’s High Score was Allyn Wark 140 x 2, Women’s High Score was Diane Juby with a 124, Men’s High Finish was Randy Armstrong with a 115 and Women’s High Finish was Donna Cathcart with a 58.
