Mississippi Mills Deputy Mayor Rickey Minnille and Councillor John Dalgity were busy repairing the Cenotaph in Clayton recently. The monument sits beside the dam in Clayton, lists names of the Clayton residents lost in WWI & WWII and was originally built by Joey Edmonds. Over time the monument required repointing, the stones were removed, the old mortar cleaned out and the stones replaced with new mortar to hold it together for years to come.
